From January to September this year, Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Park in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, ranked first in the city in terms of the number of new industrial project funds.
Statistics from the zone's investment promotion bureau show that in the first nine months, Guiyang HIDZ spent a total of 13.22 billion yuan ($1.89 billion) in funds in place on new industrial projects, which is 80.14 percent of the annual target set by Guiyang for the zone.
