Resident businesses in the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone or Guiyang HIDZ – located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – have clearly benefited from its efforts to relieve pressure on their operations from the lingering impact of COVID-19.
Statistics from Guiyang Torch Software Park Management Co – the operator – showed that the Guiyang Torch Software Park acted decisively and that its actions had a positive impact.
It reduced or exempted three months of rent for 82 resident companies in the park, with a total rent reduction of more than 3.2 million yuan ($480,120).
The park is a national technology business incubator.
As such, it mainly provides modern office space, research and development sites – as well as technology consulting and policy interpretation and training services – to support the development of its high-tech enterprises.
