In the first half of this year, the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, had 8.79 billion yuan ($1.32 billion) in projects in place, which is 53.3 percent of Guiyang's annual target for the zone.
A total of 6.03 billion yuan in place was for industrial projects, accounting for 58.5 percent of Guiyang HIDZ's annual target.
Moreover, Guiyang HIDZ had introduced 25 enterprises with strong performance over a six-month period, which is 62.5 percent of its annual target.
In addition, Guiyang HIDZ had introduced four headquarters projects, 15 internet platform projects, and another 32 key projects in the first six months of this year.
