From January to May this year, the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, had 6.91 billion yuan ($1.04 billion) in industrial projects in place, ranking first in Guiyang.
Since the beginning of this year, the Guiyang HIDZ has been attaching heavy importance to promoting businesses involved in electronic information manufacturing, advanced equipment manufacturing, new energy and software and information technology services.
Over a five-month period, Guiyang HIDZ introduced 10 projects in total, including six projects in manufacturing and two in digital economy.
Meanwhile, another 16 standard plant projects were established in the Guiyang HIDZ, with a total investment of 1.1 billion yuan. They are expected to achieve an output value of 5.02 billion yuan after they begin operating.
Moreover, the Guiyang HIDZ saw 12 new internet platform projects during this same period.
