The Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, or Guiyang HIDZ – located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – added six enterprises that were rated as a "zhuanjingtexin little giant" at the national level, bringing the total number there to 10.
The appellation refers to small and medium-sized enterprises with the characteristics of "specialization, refinement and novelty".
They are those businesses regarded as having the best very performances in those categories.
In addition to adding the national-level enterprises, the Guiyang HIDZ also had another 14 small and medium-sized enterprises rated as "zhuanjingtexin" at the municipal and provincial levels.
