Two projects from the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, or Guiyang HIDZ, recently made them onto a list of pilot demonstration projects for big data industry development in 2021 – launched by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The Guiyang HIDZ is located in Guiyang city, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The list was launched on Sept 1 and it selected a total of 204 projects engaged in the key fields of industrial big data applications, key data products and data management and services, among other things.
One of the Guiyang HIDZ projects is called the "Big Data Convergence Application of Enterprise Production and Operation Management for the Electronic Information Industry" project.
It is being operated by Guizhou CASI Cloud Network Technology Co and targets different application scenarios for research, production and management in the electronic information industry.
The aim is to realize integration and sharing of services, optimal configuration and business collaboration for the equipment and products in the electronics information industry. It also wants to boost the digitization, networking and intelligence level of the production process, the industry supply chain and the entire product life cycles of enterprises.
The second Guiyang HIDZ project recognized on the list is the "District and County-level Public Data Resource Development and Utilization Platform Construction and Operation Model Innovation Project" – being operated by CETC Big Data Research Institute Co.
This project provides data services or data products for governments, public institutions and research institutes.
It is understood to adopt emerging technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence, to create a platform for the safe development and utilization of data resources.
