The planning and construction bureau of the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) recently held a publicity activity on Guizhou Ecological Day.
The Guiyang HIDZ is located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
Guizhou Ecological Day falls on June 18 this year.
By distributing leaflets and manuals, the activity was aimed at arousing enthusiasm among the public to participate in environmental protection efforts.
At the gate of the Dewangjia Supermarket, workers discussed environmental protection and garbage sorting with employees of enterprises and institutions and nearby residents.

During the event, Guiyang HIDZ's planning and construction bureau handed out a total of 800 environmental protection brochures, 1,000 leaflets, and more than 200 environmental protection bags.
This has further enhanced residents' awareness of the importance of ecofriendly development and high-quality production.
