Six companies from the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, or Guiyang HIDZ -- located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- were listed among leading demonstration enterprises in the big data, software and information technology services industries in the city and the adjacent Guian New Area in 2020.
That's according to information from the zone's big data development office. The list was recently announced by the Guiyang Bureau of Big Data Development and Management in Guiyang.
A total of 20 companies from Guiyang and Guian made it onto the list, while those from the Guiyang HIDZ accounted for 30 percent of the total.
In addition to the recognition, the companies will receive financial support according to Guiyang's policies, to promote the development of the software and the IT services industries.
Moving forwards, the Guiyang HIDZ plans to boost its services capabilities for companies, to help resident companies tackle various difficulties. It also plans to create a better business ecosystem for the development of its digital economy.
