Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held a job fair at the Guizhou University of Finance and Economics on April 22, according to local media reports.
A total of 39 companies from Guiyang HIDZ participated in the event, offering 758 job positions in areas including medicine, big data and human resources. The positions included accountants, administrative clerks and network engineers.
In addition to the offline job fair, an online recruitment activity was also held. Nearly 500 job hunters participated in the online event within an hour of its launch and 355 resumes were submitted.
Since April 19, Guiyang HIDZ has held job fairs at Guizhou University, Guizhou University of Commerce and Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, offering nearly 6,000 job positions. A total of 713 employment-intention agreements were reached, and three job contracts were signed on site.
The zone will also hold a job fair at Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine on May 8.
