On April 19, Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, released a catalog outlining its demand for high-level talents and urgently-needed talents, according to local media reports.
The catalog lists a total of 242 job positions that require 916 talents. These positions all offer an annual salary of more than 100,000 yuan ($15,420).
This catalog was compiled by Guiyang HIDZ's organization and human resources department and involves 52 of the zone's key companies in big data, healthcare, new materials and modern manufacturing.
Job positions cover a range of areas, including information technology, data analysis, system integration and software development.
According to a director from the department, the zone's demands for high-level talents and urgently-needed talents range from high school graduates to those with doctorates.
Companies offer great salaries regardless of education level, according to the director. For example, the technical motor R&D engineer position provided by Guizhou Aerospace Linquan Motor Co Ltd offers an annual salary of more than 280,000 yuan.
