Guiyang HIDZ plans to hold weekly job fair

Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, plans to hold recruitment fairs every week from February to offer employment opportunities to job seekers, according to officials at a job fair held in the zone on Jan 4.

Hosted by Guiyang HIDZ and one of its resident enterprises, the job fair on Jan 4 attracted the participation of 115 enterprises from both inside and outside Guiyang HIDZ.

The employment event was held online and offline and boasted more than 1,800 positions in computers, software development, new media operation, accounting and sales. Nearly 1,000 people applied for jobs.

The weekly employment fair will be held from February and is expected to attract the participation of about 100 enterprises at each offline event. And plus the online enterprises participating in each fair, the number of enterprises for each fair could reach more than 200, providing more choices for job seekers.
