The Xiangming data center built by Guizhou Xiangming Technology Co was recently selected by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as one of the national green data centers in 2020 – the only one from Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The data center has a floorage of 28,394 square meters with a total investment of 120 million yuan ($18.34 million). It is equipped with a big data capital service center, an incubator for technology enterprises and a financial center.
The data facility is considered a commercialized data center, data storage center, information disaster recovery center and a center for financial system service and disaster recovery.
So far, the first stage of the data center has been equipped with 383 cabinets and connected with China's three major telecom operators. Various companies have stored data at the center.
Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, home to the Xiangming data center, has strived to promote the data center's construction through energy conservation, high technology and a high management level.
By cooperating with national government departments and giant companies, the zone has attracted several third-party cloud computing data centers with strong competitiveness, four of which were approved as pilot projects of the national green data centers scheme.
In the future, the zone will accelerate the construction of the data center and contribute to the construction of a data center cluster in Guiyang and Guian New Area.
