Five big data enterprises and institutions resident in the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) -- in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- were recently honored at the provincial level, according to local media reports on Oct 9.
These enterprises were selected on a list of Guizhou big data innovation centers and on a list of Guizhou big data innovation and entrepreneurship bases.
The lists were compiled, as the Big Data Development Administration of Guizhou Province moved to identify and develop a number of high-quality big data innovation centers and innovation and entrepreneurship bases in the province.
The administration identified six provincial-level big data innovation centers, six big data innovation and entrepreneurship bases, three incubation targets for provincial-level big data innovation centers and six incubation targets for provincial-level big data innovation and entrepreneurship bases.
Among the five selected Guiyang HIDZ enterprises and institutions, one was recognized as a provincial big data innovation center and another as an incubation target for a provincial big data innovation center.
Two were recognized as big data innovation and entrepreneurship provincial bases and one was recognized as an incubation target for provincial big data innovation and entrepreneurship bases.
For those making it onto the lists, the provincial big data development administration will implement so-called dynamic management -- as well as provide preferential support in terms of policies and funds, together with other interested departments.
Moving forwards, Guiyang HIDZ will fully support enterprises to do their utmost in project promotions and applications, personnel training, business cooperation and in other areas.
