Enterprises resident in the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) -- in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- signed five projects during the recent five-day China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) in Beijing, according to local media reports.
They said the contracts signed during CIFTIS, which ran on Sept 4-9, involved a total of 330 million yuan ($48.56 million) in investment.
Themed with "Global services, Shared prosperity", this year's CIFTIS was the first major international economic and trade activity held offline in China since the outbreak of COVID-19 epidemic.
A total of seven enterprises resident at Guiyang HIDZ participated in the fair, to showcase and promote their achievements and products, exchange with peers and seek business.
In the event, five projects were signed up by the Guiyang HIDZ firms with domestic and international companies -- accounting for 62.5 percent of the total number of signed projects in the whole province.
