The Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) -- in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- has expanded and upgraded incubation carriers resident in the zone, local media reported on Sept 2.
In order to further promote entrepreneurship and innovation and continue to improve its business incubation ecosystem, Guiyang HIDZ, in conjunction with Guiyang High-tech Holding Co Ltd, has further expanded and upgraded its overseas students pioneer park.
A total of 25,000 square meters of incubation space have been added, 8,100 square meters of support services facilities have been completed and the overall expansion and upgrading of the project has basically been completed.
In addition, the zone has made full use of the existing standard factory buildings in Shawen Ecological Scientific Park, to expand enterprise accelerators in the small and medium-sized enterprises incubation park.
The incubation area for enterprise accelerators has increased by 110,000 square meters and the expansion and upgrading project has been finished.
In addition to supporting the newly added incubation spaces, the Guiyang HIDZ has integrated resources to build high-quality and high-level incubation carriers. Two maker spaces were newly built in the first half of the year.
