A two-day online and offline Guizhou fall talent recruitment fair on Aug 19 concluded at international talent city in the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) -- located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- according to Guiyang HIDZ officials.
A total of 115 provincial companies attended the recruitment fair, including 16 Guiyang HIDZ resident businesses.
According zone officials, a total of 1,920 appointments were offered to job seekers at the fair, including positions such as computer engineers and software development engineers, as well as jobs in new media operations, accounting and sales.
Guiyang HIDZ officials said a total of 763 people came in person to apply for jobs and 276 reached preliminary job agreements with enterprises.
The event was the sixth recruitment fair held this year in international talent city.
Officials said that by setting up WeChat official accounts linked to the Guizhou online recruitment fair, Guiyang HIDZ talent and the Zhaocaiyuan official website, the zone ensured that candidates who could not be interviewed at the scene could send on their resumes to companies.
At the same time, officials added that the zone has made efforts in measures for COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control at the physical, offline fair.
While controlling the fair’s size, as well as the numbers of enterprises and job seekers participating, the zone had tried its best to meet the needs of face-to-face communications between enterprises and job seekers – while promoting the employment of college graduates, laid-off workers, rural labors and other people.
