A new generation terminal started printing business licenses on July 28 in the 24-hour self-service hall at government services center of the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ), Guiyang HIDZ officials said.
They said business licenses can now be obtained as soon as one minute, using the machine.
Guiyang HIDZ -- in the capital city Southwest China's Guizhou province -- installed the device to make it convenient for people.
Officials said applicants can choose their own time to process the business licenses themselves, reducing the waiting time and processing time and reducing the burden on staff members at the government services center.
According to local media reports, compared with the original self-service business license printing terminal, the new device omits some tedious links, simplifying the whole operation process into three steps, greatly reducing the previous operations difficulties.
Local officials added that although the process has been simplified, the security has also improved. Through ID card verification, only the enterprise's legal representative or a business client can print the business license.
The new terminal uses face recognition and detection technology to ensure that the person who agrees to print the business license is consistent with the person who inserts the identity card information.
