The Guiyang High-tech Business Incubator held a meeting to promote the construction of entrepreneurship and innovation carriers on July 10 -- and announced a key plan to construct more incubators, according to local officials.
Located in the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang -- capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- the Guiyang High-tech Business Incubator is a department of Guiyang HIDZ focusing on promoting entrepreneurship and innovation.
According to Guiyang HIDZ officials, the incubator plans to accelerate the construction of a science and technology innovation platform and a public technology service platform.
Zone officials added that within the year the zone will start the constructions of eight incubators.
These will be one incubator for precision micro-motors, another science and technology for the China Zhenhua Electronics Group, incubators for integrated circuits, internet medicine and geographic information -- as well as one for Yaguang Electronics Technology Co, another for unmanned driving and one for the production and service industries.
Officials said the establishment of the incubators would further improve the survival rate of companies and promote collaborative innovation in production, learning and research around each industry production and supply chain.
