A ceremony marking the establishment of the first training base for young online e-commerce anchors in Southwest China's Guizhou province was held at the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, capital of the province on July 4, according to Guiyang HIDZ officials.
At the ceremony, officials from the Guizhou youth development service center presented a foundation plaque to the training base.
In addition, 14 leading local talents in Guizhou with rich practical experience in the field of short videos and e-commerce livestreaming events were awarded instructor certificates, enabling them to train youngsters attending the base.
According to local officials, the base aims to pool the outstanding experience and knowledge of the instructors in short video, online livestreaming and other internet fields -- both inside and outside the province.
It will carry out a series of support activities for entrepreneurial youth in the province.
The establishment of the training base also aims to improve skills through professional training -- attracting more people to join the ranks of young online anchors who will promote the exports and sales of Guizhou products in the form of livestreaming and short videos.
