An industrial supply chain for intelligent products -- focusing on intelligent terminal electronic products and intelligent home products -- has essentially been established in the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, also known as the Guiyang HIDZ and located in the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province. There are, in addition, plans afoot to attract a number of top consumer goods manufacturers to the zone and cultivate a number of high-end consumer goods brands.
To do so, Guiyang HIDZ is planning to:
1. Promote the development of intelligent terminal electronic products manufacturing. Focus on supporting the development of manufacturing of high-performance computers, servers, intelligent wearable devices, intelligent travel products, smart phones, drones, robots and other intelligent terminal electronic products and their support facilities.
2. Focus on smart home products manufacturing. The zone will focus on the development of smart home products, such as intelligent security systems, intelligent lighting, intelligent audio-visual control systems, intelligent electrical control systems, etc.
3. Promote the manufacturing of traditional Chinese medicines, ethnic medicines, medical devices and medical consumables. Promote the development and production of new medical diagnostic equipment and reagents, digital medical equipment, artificial intelligence-assisted medical equipment, medical adjuvant consumables and new medical packaging materials and technologies, etc.
4. In terms of cultural, educational, sports and recreational products, the zone will mainly focus on the development of tourism and leisure equipment, high-quality teaching appliances (such as intelligent teaching machines), special stationery supplies, intelligent toys and other products.
