A firm located at the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) -- a development zone of Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- cooperated with the Chinese Medical Volunteers to great effect, according to Guiyang HIDZ officials.
They said the medical volunteers is an online platform offering free medical services and the partners launched 24-hour internet medical services on Jan 25 to help in the fight against the coronavirus pneumonia.
Using the 39 Health Network WeChat public account and 39 Health mobile app, Guiyang HIDZ firm -- Guiyang Longmaster Information Technology Limited -- started to offer internet based 24-hour free medical solutions for pneumonia and video consultation services from Jan 25.
Since the service was launched, it has been greatly supported by hundreds of volunteer doctors from the tertiary or higher-level hospitals in China.
Officials said that to date, more than 200,000 patients and people from 31 provinces, cities and autonomous regions have browsed and learned about the service and more than 2,500 remote video medical consultations were completed.
They said the patients and people came from places including central Hubei province, Guizhou province and South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, as well as 15 overseas countries and regions.
