The launch ceremony for the fifth makers' carnival at the western China's makers park was held at Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Guiyang (Guiyang HIDZ), capital of southwestern Guizhou province on Dec 24, according to Guiyang HIDZ officials.
Officials said the two-day event aimed to stimulate makers' innovation potential and inventiveness by sharing entrepreneurship stories, swapping information on creative projects. About 3,000 people have participated in the activity.
At the launch ceremony, leading entrepreneurs in Guiyang HIDZ talked about their entrepreneurial experiences.
In addition, the zone's entrepreneurial service center issued graduation certificates to 10 incubated enterprises at the ceremony and employed 91 key personnel of the enterprise as entrepreneurial mentors of the service center.
