Local authorities at Guiyang National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, organized six enterprises in the zone to participate in a major recruitment fair held on Nov 16 in Nayong county with the aim of further helping the county out of poverty through employment promotion.
The six enterprises participating in the fair are mainly engaged in manufacturing and hotel catering, providing more than 150 jobs such as cleaners, security guards, general workers and office clerks.
Through on-site consultation and exchanges, 66 job seekers have reached employment intention registration with enterprises.
According to local officials, since the beginning of this year, Guiyang HIDZ has participated in three job fairs in Nayong to promote the transfer of workers from the county to the zone and help the poverty-stricken labor force out of poverty.
