Guiyang Overseas Scholars Pioneer Park was selected in the second batch of China Overseas Scholars Pioneer Park Incubators at a symposium on the 25th anniversary of the founding of the national pioneer parks and the project's 20th annual conference held in Changshu, in East China's Jiangsu province, Nov 15.
Guiyang Overseas Scholars Pioneer Park in Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guozhou province, was one of the 14 units selected as national incubator bases.
According to local media reports, at the annual conference, representatives from all over the country summarized and exchanged experiences of the construction of Overseas Scholars Pioneer Parks in the past 25 years through reports, forums, commendations, symposiums and exhibitions.
In combination with the national development strategy and talent work requirements, attendees at the conference discussed how to attract overseas talents to return to China for innovation and entrepreneurship, in order to achieve higher level and higher quality development.
