The opening ceremony for the 2019 Guiyang-Dell software services outsourcing talent training project was held at the Guizhou University of Commerce in Guiyang, capital city of southwestern Guizhou province on Oct 28, according to the organizers.
The training project -- which officially started on Nov 1 -- is being carried out by the Guiyang Dell software services outsourcing center and Guizhou Boyuan Xunling Education Technology Co Ltd, a company located in the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ).
A representative from Boyuan Xunling said the project is mainly aimed at building a training system for DELL software services outsourcing personnel in the Guiyang HIDZ, targeting the talent gap currently existing in big data enterprises in the zone and building a closed loop for personnel training and transport.
Based on the current demand for software services, the internet plus, big data and the artificial intelligence industry, Boyuan Xunling and DELL designed the training course in a customized way.
The aim is to train high-quality professionals in the big data industry in Guiyang by training talent in the software service industry -- so as to meet the needs of Guiyang's economic development and modern enterprises.
The basic training contents of the project includes big data, AI, the internet of things, microservice development, H5 front-end technology, software testing, IOS and Android.
These are being covered through professional skills teaching and project training, so as to train students to be familiar with mainstream programming technology methods, master software engineering methods, tools and technologies -- and be able to engage in software analysis and computer software programming testing and maintenance.
More than 200 students from Guizhou University of Commerce and Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine signed up for the training program.
After the opening ceremony, more than 160 students majoring in the internet of things, engineering and e-commerce at the schools will officially start their training on Nov 1.
