A total of 10 projects from Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) have won technological invention and technological progress awards at the Guizhou Science and Technology Award Meeting held in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, Oct 24.
According to local media reports, most of the 10 winning projects involved the development, research and application of key technologies, covering big data, materials, equipment manufacturing, survey and design, and other fields, and mainly focusing on key common technologies, and key and difficult issues needing to be solved in the economic and social development of Guizhou province.
At the ceremony, the top awards for science and technology, natural science and technology, technology invention, science and technology progress, and science and technology cooperation were handed out, and an overall total of 115 awards were presented.
