In cooperation with Northwestern Polytechnical University, research on the precision manufacturing technology of GE Aviation Engine WASPALOY alloy cartridge receiver ring is being carried out to solve the problem of the forgings being welded together after segment rolling, resulting in incomplete flow lines in the casing, non-uniform structure performance, large internal stress and a short service life. Through the research, the precision one-time forming of aero-engine cartridge receiver rings larger than 600m can be carried out. Compared with the original cartridge receiver rings, the material utilization rate has increased by more than 35 percent.
