A project signing ceremony for the 2018 Big Data Expo was held in Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone on May 26, during which 21 projects were signed worth a total investment of 2.16 billion yuan ($305.66 million).
On the same day, 10 policy measures for promoting the development of a new generation of the AI industry were issued.
According to the measures, in addition to setting up a special development fund of 50 million yuan every year, an industrial development fund of 100 million yuan will be set up to support the development of AI.
