The Xiuwen county's education bureau and Guiyang No 6 High School signed a framework agreement to revitalize Xiuwen county's high schools on June 20, in which Guiyang No 6 High School formed an educational alliance with Xiuwen High School and Xiuwen No 1 High School.
After nearly three years of hard work, Xiuwen County No 1 High School is said to have completed all its required tasks to get provincial-level status, with it now classified as a "provincial-level characteristic demonstration ordinary high school".
The Xiuwen campus of the Shizhen College at Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) received its first batch of students on Sept 24.
In recent years, Xiuwen county in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has always given priority to education improvement, and has upgraded school facilities by increasing investment in education and speeding up educational infrastructure construction.
In the next five years, Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, will add 21,510 school places to meet the growing demand for education, according to the district's education bureau.
Construction began on 13 key projects on April 28 in the county of Xiuwen, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, which is set to provide a boost to the education sector there.
