Wudang district in Guiyang, Guizhou province, hosted more than 30 events during the National Day holiday from Oct 1 to 7, featuring cultural performances, rural leisure activities, hot spring experiences, and shopping promotions, receiving 712,000 visits during the holiday.

At Guiyang East Railway Station, holiday performances featured flower-stick dancing, Bouyei bamboo pole dancing, and African drumming. Yangchang Huahua Scenic Town hosted concerts amid flower fields, pairing live music with the natural scenery.
Rural tourism sites offered farming activities, traditional handicraft workshops, family learning programs, and camping experiences. Activities included harvest-themed events at family farms, tea gatherings around outdoor stoves, and forest bonfire parties with live music.
Hot spring resorts, including Guiyu Hot Spring, Poly International Hot Spring Hotel, Wanxiang Hot Spring, and Lewan Hot Spring, organized activities such as tie-dyeing, handicrafts, and fish-catching games for children, attracting families.
Shopping areas drew visitors with performances, discounts, and home appliance subsidies. Some restaurants and hotels also offered discounts to customers presenting shopping receipts or hot spring tickets. During the holiday, Wudang's major nighttime consumption areas recorded 1.54 million visits and 15.25 million yuan ($2.28 million) in nighttime spending, up 3.4 percent year on year.
