Guiyang's Wudang district held a job fair on Feb 26, jointly organized by the district's human resources and social security bureau, disabled persons' federation, and veterans' affairs office.
The event aims to promote high-quality employment, focusing on rural laborers, returning migrant workers, people with disabilities, and other job seekers in need of support, while also addressing the hiring demands of local enterprises.
A total of 53 companies from various sectors, including manufacturing, hospitality, services, and finance, participated, offering around 1,900 job openings in positions such as production, quality inspection, maintenance, and operations.
On-site, employers and job seekers engaged in direct communication to match their employment needs more efficiently. Special assistance was provided to disadvantaged groups through one-on-one support services, including job matching guidance and policy consultation on employment subsidies and labor rights.
According to official data, the event attracted more than 200 resumes, achieving effective job placement connections between enterprises and job seekers.
