A-level tourist attractions in Wudang district received a total of 29,500 visits during the 2026 Spring Festival holiday from Feb 15 to 23, with all major scenic areas reporting year-on-year growth in visitor numbers.
To enrich the holiday experience, Wudang planned and launched 35 cultural, commercial, tourism, and sports activities spanning six themes: folk customs, hot springs, rural tourism, intangible cultural heritage, culture and sports, and commerce.

In Shuitian, Baiyi, and Dongfeng towns, traditional dragon and lion dance parades brought festive cheer to local communities. Yangchang and Dongfeng towns hosted gala celebrations featuring cultural performances, as well as interactive activities such as making dumplings and glutinous rice balls.
Meanwhile, homestays in Pianpo Bouyei township introduced a range of wellness-focused experiences, including wood-fired bread-making workshops, live music concerts, and light countryside hiking tours.
Leading hot spring resorts, including Poly International Hot Spring, Vientiane Hot Spring, and Lewan International Hot Spring, integrated wellness programs with folk-custom experiences and family-friendly handicraft activities, catering to the diverse interests of visitors.
At Xinguangli Cultural and Creative Industrial Park, a series of artistic performances and lantern-riddle challenges transformed the venue into a vibrant cultural hub combining entertainment, consumption, and interactive experiences. The district's cultural center also hosted a New Year art exhibition, offering both residents and tourists an opportunity to appreciate local artistic achievements during the holiday season.
