Wudang Hot Spring Season draws crowds

Since the launch of the 2025 Guiyang Hot Spring Season on Dec 20, 2025, Wudang district has introduced a diverse range of "hot spring + tourism + wellness" experiences through themed activities, travel routes, and ticket discounts.

At Maple Valley Hot Spring, events such as the cosplay parade and 99-yuan ($15) double tickets for hot springs have attracted many young visitors and families. Tourists can enjoy hot springs while joining immersive parades and folk culture activities. The resort has received more than 30,000 visits during the season.

Meanwhile, Wanxiang Hot Spring has launched family-friendly activities, including free admission for children and candied hawthorn-making experiences. With over 50 themed hot spring pools and wellness programs inspired by Miao, Dong, and Yao medicine traditions, the resort has welcomed more than 35,000 visitors so far.
