Wudang bolsters flower-viewing economy

As the warmth of spring kicks off the blooming period of several flower species, visitors have been flocking to the Huahua Town Scenic Area in Wudang district of Guiyang to view flowers.

Zhao Ying, the person in charge of the scenic area, introduced that more than 20 varieties of flowers are planted throughout Huahua Town, covering an area of over 200 mu (13.33 hectares). Their blooming periods span from March to November, enabling visitors to appreciate flowers throughout almost the entire year.

In order to keep bolstering the flower-viewing economy, the scenic area has been exploring new consumer scenarios for flower-viewing activities, especially those that integrate flower-viewing activities with related industries.

Visitors expressed that there are many flowers in the scenic area and that they bloom beautifully. You can also pick strawberries, enjoy self-service barbecue and camp here.

In preparation for the upcoming May Day holiday, the scenic area is also set to host a variety of themed activities.
