Wudang becomes home to 8 more specialized and sophisticated SMEs in 2023

Guizhou Wanshuntang Pharmaceutical Co and Guizhou Geological and Mineral Survey Institute Co, two enterprises from Wudang district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, were included in the second group of specialized and sophisticated small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in 2023, announced recently by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.

A total of eight enterprises from Wudang have been selected as provincial-level specialized and sophisticated SMEs this year, showcasing the district's robust development vitality and favorable business environment.

In recent years, Wudang has been making concerted efforts to provide excellent services for local enterprises in a bid to help them grow. In 2023, in accordance with the requirements of the "Notice on Launching the Evaluation of Innovative SMEs in Guizhou Province", Wudang conducted thorough research and investigation.

A total of 27 innovative SMEs, 15 specialized and sophisticated SMEs, and one or two key "Little Giant" enterprises were identified for cultivation. The district provided guidance for enterprises throughout the application process.

To date, Wudang is home to six national-level "Little Giant" equipment manufacturing enterprises and 21 enterprises recognized as "Little Giant" incubation enterprises, as well as provincial-level specialized and innovative enterprises engaged in new materials, medicine, equipment manufacturing, and specialty food.
