Wudang preserves high-quality environment

As of Nov 25, multiple ecological protection indexes have all reached the standard set forth by the government in Wudang district, Guiyang, a testament to the progress made by the district in protecting the environment.

According to statistics, in the first half of this year, the water quality of provincial and the district's controlled sections all reached said standard, while the quality of centralized drinking water sources did as well. As of Nov 25, days with good air quality in Wudang accounted for 99.6 percent of the total days this year.

Among all regions in Guiyang, Wudang ranked 2nd in terms of water quality and number of days with good air quality.

Additionally, the key construction land safety utilization rate in the Wudang has reached 100 percent, and the comprehensive utilization rate of general industrial solid waste has reached 99.9 percent.
