In recent years, Wudang district in Guiyang has been working to gather technological talent, promote innovation, and advance the transformation and upgrading of its industrial structure.
Adhering to this development philosophy, the district's industrial enterprises have continued to increase their investment in research and development to power ahead with industrial innovation and further development. Guiyang Jingyi Technology Co (Jingyi) is one such enterprise.
Located in Wudang district, Jingyi is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, production, sale, and after-sales service of ultra-clean high-purity electronic-grade materials.
The company produces ultra-clean high-purity phosphorus oxychloride (POCl3), high-purity semiconductor materials and PSS centralized supply systems. These products have been widely used in China's largest photovoltaic equipment manufacturing plant, largest monocrystalline silicon enterprise and more, and have been exported to Vietnam, Malaysia, and other countries.
"It took us 15 years to go from a laggard to a leader," said Shu Xiaoji, the company's deputy general manager and technical director.
When the company was established in 2006, it had only a few workshops and over 10 employees. Since 2008, the technical team led by Shu has been deeply involved in scientific research in Wudang.
With the determination and confidence to break foreign monopolies and technological blockades, the team overcame challenges related to high-purity red phosphorus technology, becoming a global leader.
This effort has promoted China's dependence and control in key manufacturing links of the industrial chain for optical communication applications, making the company a powerful driving force behind local economic development.
