Wudang district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently released its goals for developing leading enterprises. By 2025, it aims to cultivate six 1-billion-yuan-level ($137.00 million) enterprises, two 5-billion-yuan enterprises, and one 10-billion-yuan enterprise.
These leading enterprises are encouraged to participate in the formulation and revision of industry standards, improve their own standards, and enhance their dominant position in the industry.
In order to help enterprises get listed, Wudang will fully leverage the capital market to serve the real economy, making every effort to establish a coordinated service mechanism for companies to achieve this goal.
Meanwhile, Wudang will focus on adding and strengthening market entities. By giving full play to the leading role of China Zhenhua Electronics Group Co in the electronic information industry chain, the district will also promote related supporting industries to increase their added value.
In addition, efforts will be made to leverage local enterprises to attract an array of small and micro-sized supporting enterprises to settle in Wudang, while advancing the full localization of related supporting facilities, and boosting the development of local agricultural product processing enterprises.
By 2025, Wudang plans to have 1,200 industrial market entities, taking the number of industrial enterprises above a designated size beyond 100.
