In recent years, Wudang district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been optimizing its business environment by reducing processing materials, streamlining processing procedures, and shortening processing times.

So far, 135 services windows have been consolidated into 33 comprehensive service windows, and 1,580 government service items have been integrated into a "one-stop" system, driving down processing costs and improving service efficiency.

Last May, Zhao Ke, a resident of Guiyang, planned to establish a cultural and tourism base in Wudang. Zhao believed that the procedures will be complex and the process time-consuming, but to his surprise, the base was up and running in less than two months.

Wudang recently held a dedicated job fair for businesses, not only providing a convenient and efficient communication platform for enterprises but also alleviating the urgent need for labor.

The event has also helped job seekers find employment opportunities close to home, and has been praised by multiple parties.

Statistics show that in the latest provincial business environment assessment, Wudang jumped to the second position in the overall rankings.

A local government official said that a first-class business environment is one of the core competitive advantages of any region. To address the difficulties that hinder business development, Wudang has gradually established a coordinated working mechanism across various departments, and is continuing to improve the business environment.
