Since the start of this year, the economic and technological development zone of Wudang district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has embarked on a project to build standard-level factories.
The zone has set this year's goal of building new factories covering an area of 600,000 square meters. As of May 20, 24,800-square-meters-worth of factories had been completed. The new factories will be used to service 13 projects, including the Xintian Electronic Components Industrial Park and Sinopharm Western Medical Industrial Park.
To make sure the project can be finished according to schedule, the zone has set up a new headquarters to monitor and evaluate their progress.
Efforts were also made to strengthen the coordination and cooperation mechanism between the industry administrative department and the project's five major entities including the construction units, survey units, design units and supervision units, and establish a system to ensure all the construction work is carried out safely.
