Wudang district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, will add 1,216 new public parking spaces in the current year.
Wudang will also further integrate its parking resources according to its current situation, reconstruct old or unused locations into parking facilities, and further solve its parking problems in key areas such as old residential areas, schools, hospitals, and business districts.
It plans to build five new parking lots, including the Xinzhuang Road parking lot which used to be the site for abandoned factories, will have 275 parking spaces and is expected to be put into use in April this year.
