Annual meeting of CPPCC Wudang committee kicks off

The second plenary of the 11th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Wudang district committee kicked off in Wudang district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on the afternoon of Feb 14.

Of the 171 members, 155 members actually attended the second plenary, which met the required number of attending members to proceed.

The members first reviewed and approved the agenda of the second plenary of the 11th CPPCC Wudang district committee.

Wang Mingming, Party secretary of Wudang district, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

Wang emphasized that looking back on 2022, Wudang achieved steady economic growth and social stability. He noted that the district took solid steps towards socialist modernization.

Chairman Long Yun made a work report on behalf of the standing committee of the 11th CPPCC Wudang district committee which reviewed the committee's work in 2022 from five aspects.

Entrusted by the standing committee of the 11th CPPCC Wudang district committee, Vice Chairman Huang Caixiu made a report on the standing committee's work since the first plenary of the 11th CPPCC Wudang district committee.

Huang introduced that a total of 178 proposals were submitted throughout the year. After review, 176 cases were filed, which was a case filing rate of 98.9 percent, while the proposal communication rate, response rate and satisfaction rate all reached 100 percent.
