Number of market entities in Wudang spikes in 2022

The improved business environment in Wudang district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has boosted the district's business reputation and influence.

In 2022, newly-introduced industrial projects in Wudang achieved 8.26 billion yuan ($1.23 billion) in funds, which is 3.3 percent over its annual target. The district's industrial funds in 2022 came in at 5.43 billion yuan, exceeding its annual target by 23.4 percent.

Over the same period, Wudang introduced 26 enterprises with good or excellent business performances, which is 13 percentage points over its annual target.

In recent years, Wudang has continued to simplify administrative approval procedures, shorten the time limit for business applications, and improve the quality of government services.

Due to these efforts, the number of market entities in Wudang has continued to increase. Wudang added 6,985 new market entities in 2022, bringing the total number of market entities in the district to 29,561.
