Wudang district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, received 126,300 tourists during the New Year's Day holiday on Jan 1-3.
The district generated a tourism revenue of 68 million yuan ($9.71 million) during the three-day holiday.
During this period, Wudang launched a series of online and offline activities to boost its tourism marketing.
It's worth mentioning that the Poly International Hot Spring, Yugui Hot Spring, Wanxiang Hot Spring, Lewan Hot Spring and Fengyegu Hot Spring in the jurisdiction of Wudang were among the top travel destinations.
