In the run-up to the 20th CPC National Congress, which will kick off in the national capital of Beijing on Oct 16, Wudang district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been decorated with brightly-colored flowers and atmospheric landscape sketches to create a festive atmosphere.
Information from the district shows that around 200,300 pots of flowers have been used, which include marigolds, begonias and impatiens.
The landscape sketches will be lit up from 6 pm to 11 pm every day.
The decorated sites are mainly located at the Wudang Administrative Center, Xintian Avenue, Hangtian Road, Guiyang East Railway Station, Zhenhua Square and Haoren Square.
