A centralized supervision warehouse for imported cold chain food recently started operating in Wudang district in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The inspection and storage of the first batch of imported cold chain foods were successfully completed there.

Wudang district is the largest and most concentrated district in Guiyang's cold chain industry.

It currently has 55 cold chain enterprises and 1,519 cold chain employees, including 16 employees with direct contact with imported cold chain food.

Previously, the only centralized supervision warehouse for cold chain food in Guiyang was located in the Xiuwen County Agricultural Products Logistics Park, which is far away from Wudang, and the warehouse could only be used for transit inspection and could not provide storage services. This brought great inconvenience and increased operating costs.

The completion and use of the Wudang warehouse have consolidated the supervision of the whole chain of imported cold chain food in Wudang district from storage to transportation, production and processing, and laid a solid foundation for ensuring the health and safety of the people in the district and the stability of the food industrial chain.
