Wudang students perform well at sci-tech innovation competition

The education system of Wudang district in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, achieved excellent results in Guiyang's youth sci-tech innovation competition in 2021, according to local media reports.

The competition was co-hosted by the Guiyang Association for Science and Technology, Guiyang Education Bureau and Guiyang Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League.

Among the 116 "science fiction paintings" that received prizes, works by Wudang students received five first prizes, 12 second prizes and 21 third prizes. The district also achieved good results in other competitions.

Officials said that the competition helped children improve themselves and provided a platform for children to participate in scientific and technological innovation.
