The Wudang Market Supervision Administration – located in Guiyang city in Southwest China's Guizhou province – launched a self-service platform for processing business licenses this month.
Officials said the administration opened the terminal in the district government affairs hall and it meant that businesses can now be fully registered by their owners themselves in Wudang district.
They said the move was in response to the effects of the novel coronavirus which had hampered business registrations in the district. In order to overcome the impact, the business license self-printing system was activated in a very short time.
Compared with the traditional business license registrations, the self-service processing terminal avoids face-to-face contact and facilitates online declarations and the self-printing of a business license, which greatly enhances the approval efficiency and service levels.
Officials added that the new system was expected to improve the business environment in Wudang district.
