Guiyang has in recent years integrated the idea of health maintenance into a variety of working areas and promoted the integrated development of poverty relief, big data and ecological protection, said Chen Xiaogang, vice-mayor of Guiyang, during his opening speech.

He also said that the opening of the hospital is of great significance to Guiyang's efforts to deepen medical reform, improve livelihoods and generate a high-quality medical and sanitary industry in the city.

Li Cheng, district head of Wudang, elaborated on the district's measures in integrating big data, ecology, finance, community and culture, by taking medical manufacturing, healthcare and health maintenance as core industries.

The district plans to solve difficulties for people going to see a doctor, such as paying too much, develop supporting facilities for medical reform and provide more policy support for medical operation and management, Li added in his speech at the launch ceremony.
