Updated: 2019-09-16

Several workers from the CPC Wudang district committee in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, paid a special visit to the left-behind children in the Yunjinshangcheng community on Sept 10 to celebrate the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, which will falls on Sept 13 this year.

The children learned how to make moon cakes, after listening to an introduction of the origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival, enriching their knowledge of Chinese traditional festivals.

Workers not only had warm talks with the children, but also expressed their expectations that they should study hard to achieve good academic performance. They also gave some festive presents to the children on the day.
